Position Summary
The General Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all areas relating to the production and distribution of bulk wine at Bear Creek Winery. The position reports to and will work with the CFO/owner to plan long-term strategies, define procedures, and execute the plan through management of various departments.

Major Responsibilities
• Oversee wine production and cellar operations in collaboration with the winemaking team
• Strive for continuous improvement by developing and executing projects to increase efficiency, productivity and capacity across all processes
• Supervise employee hiring, training, development, and management, providing guidance to leadership teams
• Direct the procurement of all materials and services needed to operate the facility
• Recommend capital improvements in plant and equipment, and monitor projects for performance on expectations

Qualifications
• 10+ years of wine production experience is preferred but may be substituted for similar experience in food and beverage manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership and/or management role
• Knowledge of food and beverage manufacturing regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication, record keeping, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and resolve issues timely and effectively
• Proficient in computer technology, including Microsoft Office
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software is desirable
