Job Description/Qualifications

We are a family-owned winery with a fun, hard-working team based in Dry Creek Valley in Healdsburg, focusing on small production, fine wines. We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic individual to join our team as the DTC Ecommerce & Wine Club Coordinator for retail sales. The ideal candidate is someone who can provide exceptional customer service, and thrive in a self-motivated environment. Part-time position of 20 hours per week typically, and can do most work at home or personal office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
• Field incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to customers
• Assist customers with order tracking, coordinating shipping logistics, and resolving any shipping issues
• Manage customer and office email and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries
• Assist guests seeking reservations for tastings and events at the winery
• Send welcome letters to new wine club members, and provide personalized service to members to build loyalty and retain members

Ecommerce:
• Maintain website content and update the online store
• Process wine club orders and sales orders received by phone, email, and web
• Interface with shipping fulfillment services
• Create direct-to-consumer email campaigns for wine club releases
• Customer database entry, cleanup, and general membership maintenance

Marketing & Sales:
• Support marketing and public relations
• Assist maintaining marketing assets (documents, forms, photos, graphics) in shared cloud storage accounts
• Write copy for the website, and DTC marketing and wine club sales materials
• Support local events and tastings as needed (pouring, setup, breakdown, hosting)

Required Experience:
• Basic wine knowledge
• Minimum 1-2 years wine industry experience
• Team-oriented attitude – ability to be flexible and willingness to pitch in as needed
• Organizational and time management skills
• Written and verbal customer service and communication skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems and programs
• Must be able to lift ~40 lbs.

Preferred Experience:
• Point-of-sale (POS) or order entry software experience (WineDirect)
• Email marketing software experience (WineDirect, MailChimp)
• Retail wine sales compliance and software (ShipCompliant)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
