18 year old vineyard planted with Wente Clone Chardonnay. Rows oriented east-west aligning with maritime breeze. Weather during ripening is typically foggy cool nights and warm days.

Farming practice was transitioned to emphasize quality over yield in 2015 and that practice has continued to be refined by working closely with a local vineyard manager has extensive experience in these types of farming practices.

Several styles of Chardonnay have been made from this fruit ranging from austere old world (no oak or malo) to opulent and rich California style. All have produced very nice wine which show the bright fruit quality as well as versatility to support the winemaker’s stylistic objectives.

Awards - Multiple inc. Chronicle Silver, Gold and Best of Show in local winemaker groups

Historically harvest occurs in early October with sugar of 24 Brix and acid of 3.65 ph.
Expected yield for sale: 4 tons
