Cimarron Vineyards is located on a 300-acre ranch in southern Lake County, just north of the Napa Valley. These high elevation vineyards benefit from hot days with good diurnal temperature ranges, and well-drained, rocky volcanic soils.
In addition to the 100 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon, a remaining 20 tons of Petite Sirah, 20 tons of Merlot (both formerly contracted by a renowned Napa Valley winery), and 1.5 tons of Zinfandel are also available. These are grown in soils of the Benridge-Konocti association at an elevation of 1700 feet.
Opportunities for grapes from a younger 15 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon (04, 07, 08, 47) are also available.
