Vineyard Details

The vineyard has 976 cordon-trained/spur pruned vines planted on drought-tolerant rootstock at 10x6 spacing. Varietals include Petite Sirah, Barbera, Graciano and Sauvignon Blanc. The peak elevation of the property is 2,400 feet, which results in warm days and cool nights, perfect for balancing sugar and acidity in the grapes. The Manton Valley AVA has several vineyards and wineries producing award winning wines. The 2.2 acre vineyard meets current county size requirements for hosting events (wine tasting, live music, weddings, etc), but is small enough that it can readily be managed by one person. The vineyard is in its 5th leaf, with drip irrigation and steel end posts.
