Alder Springs Vineyard is nestled among a diverse forest on a steep hillside in Northern Mendocino County, 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean. With over 43 varieties of grapes planted at 1700' to 2700' elevation. We have been deemed by our industry colleagues as a candy store for Winemakers. We are diligent in our approach to maintaining our reputation for being on the cutting edge of viticulture and been grafting more acreage allowing some openings for new fruit contracts for 2024. Our grapes are farmed both sustainably and organically. We practice regenerative farming; using low laying, nitrogen rich, under vine cover crops, wood chip mulch, biochar, compost and organic foliar nutrient sprays.
