Located in the upland and hillsides of the northeastern dry Creek Valley, the vines are planted in relatively shallow, well-drained soil, yielding , on average, 2.5 tons per acre of intensely flavored fruit, making wine receiving gold from judgings including Los Angeles and our own Harvest Fair.
