Exceptional Barbera from a distinguished Shenandoah Valley hillside vineyard. These low-yielding vines, planted in 1992 from the original Montevina rootstock collection, carry significant heritage provenance — Montevina was among the Shenandoah Valley's pioneering Italian varietal producers, making this fruit traceable to the region's founding plantings. Rolling terrain and optimal hillside exposure deliver concentrated flavors and naturally balanced ripening. Meticulous canopy management and hand-harvesting ensure perfect cluster selection and gentle handling from vine to bin. Ideal for winemakers seeking authentic, old-vine California Barbera with depth, structure, and a compelling story.

Exceptional old-vine Zinfandel from a historic Shenandoah Valley hillside vineyard. Head-trained vines planted in 1992 on drought-tolerant St. George rootstock deliver intensely concentrated, fruit-forward character — rich blackberry, jammy complexity, and classic spice and pepper notes with robust tannin structure that serious winemakers demand. Optimal hillside exposure, low yields, and hand-harvesting ensure fruit quality at every pick. These mature vines have consistently produced award-winning fruit for over 30 years.
