Hand cultivated and harvested. Award winning grapes located in Calaveras County. Warmer days and cooler evenings allow for the fruit to achieve maximum quality. Original planting started in 1981, with replants and ultimate care. Drip irrigation allows us to monitor watering applications and we utilize wind machines for frost protection. Located at the 1500' elevation, with east and western exposure. The vineyard is nestled in the Esmeralda Valley of Calaveras County. Grapes available are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chenin Blanc and Sangiovese.

The vineyard's row spacing is 4 x 4, and was planted in 2001. Rootstock is 110R and Clone is Entave 191. The Vines are cane pruned.
