Job Description/Qualifications

I am happy to announce that The Jimmy Mancbach Intern/Scholarships Foundation is up and running again after a 3 year hiatus due to Covid. In case you’ve forgotten us we are a non-profit foundation enabling young wine enthusiasts the opportunity to work crush at a renowned boutique winery that normally does not host interns. The recipient’s experience includes all aspects of winemaking, including an overall view of the wine industry. All wineries compensate beyond the scholarship money we offer. This years hosting vineyards include, Au Bon Cllimat, Hanzell Vineyards, Vinecliff and Heitz Cellars. Our recipients have gone on to procure employment at some of most prestigious establishments in the Food & Wine Industry. Their experience and new found knowledge has opened doors to them that otherwise would be most difficult to experience. This scholarship is offered to only a select group since we are a small entity and unable to process massive of applications. We award up to 4 recipients a year. Our recipients are selected based on their passion for fine wine making, the education or experiences they have pursued, and their work ethic. They can be at any stage in their education and do not need a degree
