Vineyard Details
About 4 acres of vineyards with many varieties including Vinifera, Hybrid, and Labrusca. Growing Vignoles, Vidal, Chambourcin, Meynieu-6, Chardonel, Niagara, GM318 (Riesling hybrid), Cayuga White, Landot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Carmine, Traminette, and more. All wines are proprietary named wines, most blended to style, some are single variety.
Plant/Equipment Included
Includes all winery equipment and supplies. Have numerous 1100 liter and smaller VC tanks. Some Century Mfg. horizontal tanks (238 gal and 342 gal. some about 65 gal and smaller). Progressive cavity must pump along with a couple VFD impeller pumps and Screw (Wobble) pump. Plate and frame 40x40 filter w/double filtration plate, as well as a small Presque Isle 10" cartridge double filter unit. Wilmes WP1000 press and a smaller SK PSP 5 (500 ltr). A small Italian motorized crusher/destemmer and a 3 ton/hr larger destemmer/crusher with paddle pump. 6 spout bottle filler with pump and a Pesce 3 phase (foot pedal) corker w/vacuum. Pretty much everything a small winery would need or want. Also includes a forklift (3500lb) and MF 135 British diesel tractor, 50 gallon boom sprayer. and various other vineyard equipment including many replacement posts and picking lugs. Just too numerous to mention all that is included.
Permit/Zoning Information
Zoned rural residential as farm with local zoning agricultural exemptions and CAUV on taxes. Have federal winery permit BW-OH-335 and Ohio Winery A-2 permit. No current food permit but Weinhaus was built to code and state and county inspected for a food health permit at one time.
