This Barbera has been sustainably grown since 2008 in Amador Shenandoah Valley (Sierra Foothills) AVA on a hand tended vineyard. In 2024 ORGANIC conversion started (OMRI and NOP compliant). Trellises face south. The soil is red decayed granite and mineral rich. Italian clone FPS04/110R, with small-to-medium berries. Fruit is dropped in mid-season for a concentrated taste. The vineyard's row spacing is 4 x 4, and was planted in 2001. Rootstock is 110R and Clone is Entave 191. The Vines are cane pruned.
