Nestled beyond a ridgeline towering 1,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean, Wayfarer Vineyard is an oasis in a remote landscape of redwood forest and winding mountain roads. Wayfarer Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines hail from this single estate vineyard in Fort Ross-Seaview, Sonoma Coast’s most dramatic appellation. Our 30 acre vineyard is the heart of Wayfarer and thus we focus much of our energy and resources throughout the year into the vineyard. The Viticulture Technician is a new position that will join our hands on winemaker to work together in all aspects of caring for our Estate, from pruning through bottling. Key Responsibilities include: • Scouting: phenology, irrigation needs, pest and disease pressure, etc. • SWP measurements • Crop Estimates • Maturity Sampling • Pruning, shoot thinning, leafing, and other hand activities • Night Harvest logistics • Data entry and reports using Excel and Word • Fermentation tracking • Cellar activities, including: Punch downs, racking, barrel work, battonage, sampling, topping, preparing and participating in blending trials. • Bottling • Occasional photography If you have the following qualifications, you should apply to learn more: • Valid driver’s license • 1+ years of experience working in a vineyard or related field •

The TWE Sensory team has openings for professional tasters. No prior tasting experience is required, just an interest in the sense of taste. We meet in the mornings on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Requirements: • Non-smoker • Age 21+ • Must be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10am to 12pm • Some work on Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 12pm may be requested • Year Round / Long Term Commitment needed • Taste Wine and make tasting notes, you must have good sense of taste • Discuss wine attributes with other panelists, calibrate and use the same language. • Must have basic computer skills If you have an interest in wine, enjoy working in a team environment and are looking for part-time work, please email kit.richard@tweglobal.com
