Sleeping Giant Winery is hiring a Harvest Winemaking Intern for the 2026 season. Want to learn winemaking from the ground up? This position will explore all aspects of winemaking at our small, family owned, state of the art winemaking facility. We harvest over 10 varietals and several Napa Valley appellations so that you may obtain a full view of the bounty offered in Napa and Sonoma. From Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Cabernet, Sangiovese and even Nebbiolo, this job will entail all aspects of crush and cellar duties from sanitation (we clean scrupulously) to berry sorting. This position will interface with all aspects of the winemaking process. From some lab duties to cellar. We are a very tidy small team, so the majority of the time you will be actually making the wine alongside our winemaking team.
