Job Description/Qualifications

Internship position 3-6 months, dependent on skill set and seasonal demands Responsibilities: *Collect samples, analyze, record, and communicate harvest juice and wine results, QA, fermentation tracking, press analysis, monthly QC, barrel monitoring, cellar/aging operations, etc. *Ensure accurate operations of laboratory equipment 
*General lab and equipment housekeeping *Assist with other cellar activities as needed (barrel downs, tank cleaning, hose lugging, etc) 
*Understand and abide lab, cellar, and vineyard procedures and safety guidelines *The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to work autonomously. The candidate must be organized, able to analyze and communicate data, and adapt to a dynamic, ever-changing cellar landscape. Qualifications: *Previous winery lab experience or related wet lab experience desired. *Able to perform lab measurements including but not limited to pH, TA, VA, alc, enzymatic analyses – residual sugar, malolactic bacteria *Computer literacy in Excel *Positive, reliable and punctual, work effectively & attentively in a tight-knit team environment with changing priorities and multiple projects, adhere to safety regulations and operating procedures

Tasting Room Manager Laurentia Vineyard and Winery located in Madison, Ohio is looking for a dynamic Tasting Room Manager to oversee daily operations and hospitality of our Tasting Room. A successful candidate will have an incredible work ethic, be detailed oriented, enjoy a fast- paced work environment and lead by example. The Tasting Room Manager is responsible for leading the daily activities of the Tasting Room team, ensuring the highest service standards and achieving revenue goals. OPAL MOON WINERY, SONOMA Opal Moon Winery is a premium custom crush winery, located just outside the quant town of Sonoma. At Opal Moon we offer an ultra-premium, state-of-the art winemaking facility for our clients to craft their wines. Our main focus is on quality, taking enormous pride in the success of our client wineries. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Opal Moon harvest internship will begin early in August and conclude around mid-November. We start with Pinot noir and then end with a steady pace of our later season Cabernets. The right candidates need to be energetic and highly motivated, with outstanding attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for our clients.
